Three new members were elected to the VMN Board at its Annual Meeting held on July 26 in Richmond.
Nancy Stark, Senior Manager, Community Development Banking with Capital One has a long history with microenterprise. Previously with the Corporation for Enterprise Development, Nancy has been a presenter at both AEO and VMN conferences.
Helen Payne-Jones, a Vice President and Loan Officer with the REDC Community Capital Group, Inc. in Richmond brings many years of experience in both lending and small business development. REDC is both a CDC and CDFI as well as a microenterprise lender. It hosted one of the first microenterprise programs in Virginia.
Elizabeth Lewis is currently Program Manager for the Luray Downtown Initiative, a Main Street Community. Liz was formerly with the Shenandoah Travel Association and brings excellent experience in the tourism sector to the VMN Board.
